after it was taken out of the grays.
When he reached bis brother's himq on
the night he dud. the body bad been
prepared for burial and placed in Joe
coffin. Got a death certificate before
he took the body on the train, this
stated that the deceased had died of a
non-contagious disease.
Dr. Raymond Pollock, .the physician
who attended Mr. Joseph Whitty in his
last illness was next placed on ihe wit
ness stand. . He stated that ha was a
regular phyilciao and hid been practis
ing for Bevoral years.-knew Mr. Whit
ty and was called to attend him a tew
day before his. demise, was lying on
the bed folly dressed and seemed to br
very sick, prescribed a dose of lactated
pepsin,-. That this medicine contained
no arsenic. On the follow ing Saturday
afternoon he again visited Mi. Whitty.
