office a pleasant place to visit, because
there was courtesy and good humor ev
er awaiting the comer. It is of these
and. many other individual characters
tics, of generosity, of sympathies ex
tended, of public services rendered, of
home and ehurch devotion, that are in
tbethoogbts and hearts of those who
knew and loved William Moore Watson
during his days here. In a great dt-
gree were these human sympathies
sen and felt by him during tne past 18
months, as he patiently, heroicaly,
cheeriully faced towards the aettlng
Sun. It was not an end to him, but a
swsei consummation, which he accepted
manfully,, devoutly. A well earned
rest' and peace that he was justly en
