Four thousand delegates in the conven
tion resolved that the vast majority of
ministers Of all protestant denomina
tions in the United States, had practi
cally repudiated the hell fire" theory.

fully inform their congregation of their

One disorder occurred in New York

lea, a strike breaker. Gonzales will
probably die.
Policeman Patrick Hanley, who gave

shot by the fleeing assailant. A bullet
pierced his lungs and at the hospital it
