The indictment against James R. Price and Thos. J.' P.rady is for conspiracy to defraud the United States in connection with route No. ,31,148 from San Antonia, Texas, to Corpus Christi, . and routes No. 30,1S.1 from M6riroe-to Shrevcjwrt, Louisiana. Two indictments against ' Geo. V. i Meserole-and Thomas J. . Jlradyr charged with conspiracy, based nj)on frauds committed on route No.. 38,U from Monument to River Bend, tuid No. 38,157 from ' Gardner to Rossitil. Uiwm the re turn of these indictments the Grand Jury was discharged. The date of the conspiracy in the Meserole ahd.: Brady indictments is fixed at June 23d, 1879, and in ' Price and Brady as upon July 1st, 1879. The nature of the conspiracy is similar to that charged in the cases now being tried, namely : Illegal expedition ' and increase :, of service upon the routes. At 5:30 o'clock this morning Timothy Reunick's cotton waste mill at the Boston Highlands took fire. The building contained much cotton waste, which, being thoroughly soaked by water from the engines, became so heavy as to burst the walls, which fell upon several firemen, who were considerably injured. One of them, it is thought, will not survive. The building was of wood, 400 by 80 leet, and three stories high ALABAMA. Gadsden. June 17.
