Greely thinks there is, and a considerable number of Arctic explorers agree with him. The little American flag which was made for his expedition by Mrs. Greely has been unfolded to the breeze at a point about four liun- dred and fifty miles from ftho pole. it, tneretore, the sea is open lrom near that latitude, several voyagers have already gone through most of tlie dilhculties of reaching tho pole. Mr.-Joseph W. Cremin sends to the jSew lork Herald a, letter on this point which is as brief as it is in genious, lie ' agrees with Lieut, Greely that the soa about the pole is probaDly open, and tor these curi ous reasons: MOne year ago I tras induced to try AyxVs Pills as a remedy for Indigestion, Con stipation, and Headache, from which I had long been a great sufferer .- Commenc ing Tith a dose of Ave Fills, 1 found their action easy, and obtained prompt relict In continuing their use, a single FU1 taken after dinner, daily, has been aU the medi cine I have required. Ayrk's Pills hare . kept my system regular and my head clear, : and benefited me more than all the siedi- dnes ever before tried.
