The Way they Call it in the Federal
Court. .
Sheriff Sutton's SandhiUer, Tom
Daugherty, enlivened the 'cotirt room
last week with his quaint, but original
imitations of Solicitor 'Allen. "Come
into court, come into court," called out
the Solicitor, "or you will forfeit your
recognizance." "Come into court, come
into court," shouted back in stentorian
tones, the crier, "or you will forfeit
your "sirconsance. " Ihe courtroom
tilling with laughter, the amazed crier
sneeringly grumbled, "you needn't
laugh that's the way sberill Mutton
told me to call it, and heknowsasmuch
aoout it as anybody. The Sheriff deny
ing the "soft impeachment." the crier
fell back on U. S- Marshal Rhodes, who
had instructed him that was the way
they called it in the Federal Court. It
is needless to say Tom Daugherty is a
court crier eighteen carat solid. Kin
ston Itemizer.
Beware of Them.
A good article that has achieved suc
cess, and attained a world-wide reputa
tion by its true merits and wonderful
results, is always imitated. Suoh is the
case with Dr. King's New Discovery for
Consumption, Coughs and Colds. Al
ready unprincipled parties are endeav
oring to delude an unsuspecting public,
by olfering imitations of this most for
tunate discovery. Do not be deceived,
but insist pn having the true remedy,
and take no other. For sale by all reli
able druggists everywhere.
