There were five candidates voted for at the primaries, Sheriff Murrill receiving con siderable more votes than any other candidate, but not a majority of the whole. As none of the candidates would withdraw, it wai impossible te to make a nomination, aa Sheriff Mar riVL- in a printed circular recites the facts and anaounoen himself a candi date for re -1 action.
