The Pamlico, Capt. Soutbgate, of tbe

favorable winds and the heavy cargo

The Stout, of the Clyde Bine, brought

other surplus stetmer, the Aauplius.
But as an offset to this she brought in
mac hi aery for a new boat. "Tbia is a
part of our business now," said one of
the line, "to carry off the surplus boats

Meed in tew, of the Williams Line, ar
rived yesterday with a cargo of general
merchandise.
Tha Trent, of the Neuse and Trent
Steamship Co., arrived from up Neuae

kainit for Trenton.
Tbe steamer Verjif r, Capt. Hall, of the
Eastern Despatch line, with miscella
neous local and railroad freight arrived
from Elizabeth City a little after noon
yesterday and will aail today at 8
o'olock. The Eaglet, of this line, is due
tonight.
The Ktiuton will leave thia morning
for Klnstoo with a cargo of kainit.
