A special to the Picayune from New Iberia, La., says: "This morning was the time fixed for the strikers to choose between returning to work and leaving the plantations. Borne of tbem returned to work, while others left, bag and bag gage. Every mill in tbe Fauss Point country is running full blast and mak ing food headway. The laborers seem satisfied with a dollar per day, and show no disposition to tak part io the strike. News comes from the interior, west of here, that all is working smoothly."
