UfX Isaac Patterson tendered his boadsks treasurer of the oouaty which after due consideration were deemed good and sufficient and ordered registered. Mr. Patterson was then qualified according to law as treasurer. Tbe clerk was ordared to furnish tbe treasurer. Isaao Patterson, a certified statement of the moneys due Craven county by ex treasurer D N. Kilbutn, together with a copy of tb order, and treasurer Patterson was instructed to make a demand forthwith upon said ex-treasurer Kilburn for said moneys and all other property, books, etc., in his hands belonging to the county. Tbe committee on court bill rr ported that they had examined the bill for fall term 1887 and found tbe amount to be 8684 80 as made up by tbe clerk, but the oounty is legally bound for only 8888,61 of said bill.
