New Berne at a cost of several thousand
dollars annually whan they ought to
be attending school right here at home.

to be educated,- we aught to keep them
home and draw others from abroad. ' In

The closing exercises of Ktnston Col
lege will begin Tuesday evening, May
28th (this evening), and wilt continue
every evening until Thursday evening,
when tha annual address will be deliv
ered by Rev. Dr. Hume of the State
University.
The exercises of Greensboro Female
College will begin tomorrow (Wednes
day), and close on Thursday with pre
sentation of diplomas by Gov. D. G.
Fowle, and the annual concert at 8:30

The exercises of Kinsey School will
begin on Wednesday, June 5th. The
annual address will be delivered by
