Joe Barring, another colored boy about

neok with a knife, inflicting a wound
which canted death on the same day,

that he and Herring were employed at

prisoner went to the stables and went
about his work; that Mr. Young, the
superintendent of the stables, sent
Dunaton to call. Herring, tba deceased,

that he was going to beat him for that.

Qraded School.
The final examinations of the Graded
Sohool were held Thurtdty. Yesterday
the anneal-report waa read, the prices
awarded, the annual address delivered,
and the school formally olosed. The
sohool and f rienda of the school assem
bled at the theatre at 10:30 o'clock. The
exercises were begun with prtyer by
Rev. Dr. Yatt; then followed the
reading of the report of the President
