Iiook out for Your Licenses
The oity tax oollector has given no
tice that hereafter persons who are sub
ject to city license tax mutt apply at the
office of the city Clerk within the first
five dsys of each month aad obtain the
tamo, or he will at once issue warrants
tor the recovery : of tho same. It the
tax collector will adhere strictly to this
practioe ho will save himself a vast deal
of trouble. It is but little trouble for
the dealer to go to the Clerk Y office
onoe a month and take out license
the law requires, but it is considerable
trouble for the Clerk to hobble around
the entire month to collect thi tax.
The law does not reqniro him . to do It,
and it ought not to be expected Of him.
