I am here partaking of the healing waters of these wonderful springs. Bat I flod it difficult to get away from newspapers. I have before me the News and Ob server of August 25th in which is Mr. Dill's "blocks of four." (we think Col. Dudly called it "blocks of five") I have also had a glance for a few minutes at the News and Observer of the 28th which says that the Journal ought to publish theae "blocks" as they give a great deal of important information to the people. Well, they do give infor mation that I had not seen or had not noticed before. Here are the "blocks." I have already made this communi cation too long but I wish to say to the News and Observer that the oolumns of the Joubnal have always been open to Mr. Bryan up to the time I left New Berne. A few days before I left I tend ered space in person, in ths presence of General Battle, end if I remember right, to make any statement in regard to his management or any reply to what had been said in regard to the same.
