We endeavored to get fuller reports from the elections in Ohio and Virginia, but owing to the rush over the telegraph wires and the excitement in Bichmond we can only give the follow ing, which we think is reliable: Virginia is Democratic by a majority of twenty thousand. Petersburg, Ma- hone's home, went Democratic by five hundred majority. Ohio is Democratic New York is doubtful, but shows Democratic gains. We are indebted to Capt. Frank Meyer for the following telegram, sent to him by a leading Norfolk firm: Noepolk, Nov. 5. Norfolk is Demo- oratio by about twelve hundred ma jority.
