Many were surprised to see so muob no; yeaterday morning. -It waa heavy fall for this section of oountry. Than waa probably three inches, but great deal of it melted during the night.'1 The boya and girls enjoyed nowballing hugely. Several squads of boya, ana a few young men mixod in, took ia the town and snowballed right and left, and aome old fellows who had long ago laid aside childish things had to play .their part as.targeta for the well aimed balls. A great many enjoyed foing -snowballed and those whadid afforded the mora fun for the boys.; .Fish dealera had men out, during the day gathering enow and ptaoinglt in boxes. It will be used in shipping fish. fhey probably made more out of the snow than any one else, excep: probably the wood dealers, who advanoed the pries of wood a little and had a good trade. We were surprised to 1 am that the fall waa muob. heavier here than at Einston and Qoldaboro. Church BSrrjcas TodayY Preebytsrian Church-Rev. L. C Vass, pastor; services at 11 a.m. and 1 p. m.
