The Democratic State Conven tion of Kentucky is now in session at Louisville The Washington Tost concludes an article on the Christian outlook with this paragraph: "From this it is not unreasonable to suppose that while the more rigid forms of or thodoxy may continue to suffer severe shocks the Christian religion will never lose its dominance. Though they may differ on some points among them- stives, there is a universal expression of confidence in Chief Shell Fish Com missioner Lucas and willingness to abide by hia actions. There is a wish also to secure a cannery at this point. Hyde county must have a very law abiding population as the jail has been for properly furnishing the man sion.
