DELEGATES SMITH, of Arizona, and Harvey, of Oklahoma, have ad dressed the House Committee on Territories la behalf of the admis sion of these Territories into the Union. Next Thursday a delegation of Oklahoma citizana will be in Wash ington and will supplement Dele gate Harvey's address by some remarks to the committee. J., representing directly the West Jersey Railroad system, co-operating with the Pennsylvania Sailroad system, argned against the proposed bill on the ground that it proposed to ex tend the powers of the commission far beyond the purpose of the original act.
