four pilots at least $150.''

ator Ransom had to go to Charlotte
with Senator Hill, bat basy as he
was he secured an amendment to
Frje's bill not to let it go into ef
fect until July 1st, 1893. It is
singular, but Ransom seldom leads
a forlorn hope. He goes in to win,
