The Harrison administration has demonstrated the existence of an organized plan for the permanent association of the Government with the private and personal interests j of favored classes of its oitizena in the exercise ot the sovereign power of taxation, and it is tho purpose of the great Democratic party to overthrow it., and restore the Government to its only legitimate object, the welfare and happiness of the people. The Democratic party is no ene my to manufacturers and trades man, but its stern command to every tyrant is, "take your heel from the necks of the people." The Democratic party insists that the only constitutional tariff is a tariff for revenue, and that every dollar taken from the packets of the people, more than is necessa ry for the absolute need of the Government economically admin istered, is publio robbery. The MoKinley law is a robber tariff and must be repealed. If Harrison is renominated, he will stand on a platmform endors ing the Force bill and demanding its passage, No man can be a Democrat who gives countenance and support to suah a measure as the Force bill of the fifty-first Congress. It is in di rect opposition to the Bill of Bights an insult to American manhood, and a parody upon Amerioan liber ty. Then, whatever else the Demo cratic party may do, in national convention, it will antagonize the McKinley tariff law and the Har rison Force bill. Tariff reform, and the restoration of the people to all their rights un der the Constitution, will be the grand object of the Democratic party in the approaching cam paign. LEJKON EUXIB.
