Public Meeting.
At a call by private citizens a public
meeting was held st th court house latt

the exercises and it paid Mr. Thomas the
high compliment of publishing his speech
on the occasion in full.
We aro well pleased to learn that Mr.
Thomas success thus far in his work kss
exceeded any anticipation of the founder

mounts a fireman's belt, which has on it

belt encirclas a fine representation of the
Silsby engine.
