A passenger train of the l'altiniorc and
Ohio railroad was wrecked on Tuesday

Miss Victoria Biiuiehi,a native of Uich
mond, Vn., who came to the city in the
Spring, ill with consuinplion, died Tues

at the residence of her brother in law,
Mr. Edward Chadwick. The remains
were taken by the next mornings train to
Kinston, the recent home of Mr. Chad
wick, for interment.

for the Unioa Collecting Agency, the
mission of which is to secure the settle
ment of bad debts is in tlio city to estab
lish a branch of it here. The Agency
was established in 1871. is represented in
all Btates and territories of the Union and
Mr. Fishman considers it the most effec
tive organization for accomplishing the
purpose of any in existence.
