Officers of the road in the city knew nothing ot it but train hands say it is so. This much is certain, the woman lived in the upper part of the city and wandered away in a crazb spell Wednesday morning. The Washington Post of yesterday (Saturday Aug. 12th) has a two column leader in which appears the following sentence in Italics: "The purchasing clause of the Sherman law cannot and will not be unconditionally repealed." The Post further says, .''Senator Vest, than Whom no Senator has had more fre quent conferences with Mr. Cleveland, admits that there is a majority of eight in the senate against unconditional re peal."
