PROPOSALS WANTED.
For the purpose of improving and
increasing the water supply and street
lighting systems, the clerk of the City
of New Bern, N. C, will, until August
23, 1913, receive bids on the following
apparatus:
(a) . One centrifugal pump having a
capacity of from 750 to 1,000 gallons
per minute at 875 R. P. M. against
a water pressure of approximately
65 lbs. per square inch and arranged
to be driven by direct connection
to 75 H. P. elecfric motor,' which we
already have on hand.
(b) . Two fifty-light, 2,200 volts
primary, 6.6 Ampere Series Arc Rec
