Brinson of this city and this will be
followed by- the regular exercises. , On
Wednesday the Dover Council, Jr.,
O. U. A. M., will present a Bible to
the school, Hon. Georgs E. Hood
making the presentation addrjss. Fol
lowing this will be an address by Hor,
J. Y. Joyner, State superintendent of
Public Instruction.
On the same day, Prof. L. C. Brogden
will make an address on the subject
ot "Country School and Country Liie".
This will be folllowed by a big picnic
dinner to which the entire county has
been invited. In the afternoon ad
dresses will bi made by Prof. Tjrlmg
ton, principal of the Farm Life School,
James A. Bryan and S. M. Brinson
of this city. After the speaking there
will be a number of athletic contests !
in which the pupils will participate.
Music for the occasion will be furnLh
ed by the Peoples Band of this city.

The Home-Coming Celebration will
ace the last' week in the month'
or sometime during the month
This statement is made so
that those were under the impression
at the celebration would take place
the early part of May will be under this
impression no longer. .
. When the invitation was extended to
the Secretary of State, William Jen
nings Bryan to deliver an address here
at the Home-Coming Celebration, he
was asked to come the last week in the
month of May or sometime during the
month of June.
It will be only a short while now be
fore the exact dates of the Home-Coming
Celebration will be announced. - It
will be announced in plenty of time forj1
every man, woman and child in a ra-1
dius of fifty miles, to know all about
them.
One of the features of the Home-Com-
ng Celebration that will appeal to all
out of town people will be the fact that
the boats running to and from the Fair
Grounds will leave from the foot of
Queen Street (one block from the Union
Depot.)
Another feature that will appeal to
everybody' will be not only the fact that
the transportation to and from the Fair
Grounds": will only be ten cents each.

minute schedule will be run from the
foot of Queen Street,, and more often
than that when the rush is on. , . .

Jug Celebration has made arrangements
to charter at least half dozen large boats,

gers, "and they can make the. trip from
the foot of Queen Street to the , Fair
Grounds in fifteen "minutes. Arrange
ments have been made ta have enough
boats to carry from 1500 to 2000 peppe
every hour, so the public need have no
fear about' the transportation problem.

cents for a; delightful fifteen minute
trip up the' Neuse River . ;
One f the feature!" of the. Celebra
tion will be the 'gigantic fireworks dis
play at ttie Fair Grounds three nights.
The Fair Grounds will be brilliantly
ignited from the .entrance to the boat
landing, and Queen Street will be bril
liantly lighted from Middle Street to
the boat landing". The boats will make
regular trips to and from the Fair Gro
unds until every person has had an op
portunity to be brought back each
niht. , ;
The admission, to the Fair, Grounds
will be fifty cents each-day until 5 p. m.
After 5 p, m. admission wilt be-only
twenty-five cents.' Holders of season
