for this purpose by the American
Cancer Society, and is being used
in educational programs for wo
men’s groups and girl’s high school
cla;3ses.

this program to the attention of
their employees, and to make ar
rangements to let them attend one
of the two programs. No admiss
ion will be charged for the pro
grams since the Carolina Theater
has been made available without
cost.

Chapel Hill Rotary Club last night
on present day trends in industry-
labor relations and the significance
of the guaranteed annual wmge.
The speaker, a past Chairman of
t'ae National War Labor Board and
referee for the National Railway
Arbitration Board, was introduced
by program chairman Collier Cobb
Jr. In outlining the present-day sit
uation he traced developments in
organized labor over the past 25
years.
Dr. Hubert C. Patterson, Jr., as
sistant professor of surgery in the
University School of Medicine, was
inducted as a new member of the
Club by Whatley W. Pierson.
