Sam believes the Tar Heels want this one and will take it— SCORE 27-7, CAROLINA. Duke's Blue Devils will meet Wake Forest over in Durham. This could be a scrap all the way as this rivalry has proclViced some outstanding' thrillers. However, the Dukes have too mych reserve power for the Deacons this year and that will be the story. WIN NER-DUKE. N. C. State’s Wolfpack play host lo Lie William and Mary Indians ovc)’ in Raleigh. This game will be a close one, although Stale seems lo have the better offense. After reviewing this one closely Sam thinks Eddie West and teammates will keep Ibis victory at home. WINNER—N. C, STATE. Powerful Oklahoma, still ranked number one in the nation, takes on Nebraska, a team they defeat ed last year, 55-7. The Sooners are on Iowa at South Bend. The Hawk- eyes usually play the Irish a close game, but this one is at South Bend and the last home game. The Irish will win this one, but it may not be a breeze. WINNER— NOTRE DAME. The UCL.4 Bruins drooped from fourth to fifth this week as they barely edged by Washington 19-17. However, they could have very possibly been looking to the South ern Cal game coming up this week. This is a family scrap that would produce plenty of thrills. We have to string along with the UCLAns record and say they’ll win, but watch it! WINNER—UCLA.
