Mrs. Whitefield and her assis
tant, Mrs. Celeste Austin answer

daily for credit reports (called
‘‘oral reporling” in Bureau par
lance) and numerous out-of-town

“inter-bureau reporting.” The Cha
pel Hill-Carrboro Office does more
inter-bureau reporting than any
other of its size, because of the
large number of temporary resi
dents in this area.
Mrs. Whitefield emphasizes
that the Burcal does not give
credit ratings in terms of good
or bad, satisfactory or unsatis
factory.
The local Bureau has expanded
rapidly in the past few years with
the growth of the community.

arium Tuesday night at 8:30 and
