All Club members were encour aged to attend the event, to be held from seven until eight o’ clock, by Club President E. Car rington Smith. He said that a pro gram of entertainment is planned and Santa Claus will be present to hand out presents. George Hogan is in charge of the program and Bill Sloan is in charge of refreshments. A barbe cue for the football team will be held on January 13. | Mr. Smith also announced that a block of tickets was being pur-, chased and busses chartered so, that the Club members could at tend together the Carolina-State and Carolina - Duke ba.sketball games being played away. Under the plan, three Carolina home basket ball games will be i heard over certain cooperating i radio stations and be seen simul-j taneously on WUNC-TV, Channel 4.! Nothing like it has ever been tried; before. The games selected for | “broadvising” are; Maryland-UNC, | Jan. 16; State-UNC, .Jan. 18; Wake' Forest-UNC, Feb. 15. W. D.
