News Leader Photo ENTRANCE DECORATIONS—Mrs. H. R. Totten and Mrs. Carl Pegg co-operated in decorating the entrance to the Phipps' residence in fixing it up as the Garden Club's Holiday House. The upper porch bannisters were draped by a garland and wreath made of cedar, magnolia leaves, pine boughs and cones, and the front door, decorated with a large wreath of fir foliage, holly, and pine cones, all gilded. Flanked by the large white candle, it is composed of regular mag nolia leaves and white-painted leaves, which appear as flowers. These are sprinkled with gold dust and have gold china berry centers. OAKVIEW WINNER—The extraordinary Christmas tree decora tion on the Sandy McClamroch doorway on Greenwood Road won for Mrs. McClamroch the first prize in the Oakview Garden Club's doorway decoration competition. Made of evergreen and magnolia leaves painted silver, the decoration is spotlighted and is flanked by windows candles. ' i■li GLEN LENNOX WINNER—The metallic-blue decorated door way of the Everett D.
