C., and Dr. John Dewey Dorsett, Jr., of Chapel Hill. The 6 o’clock ceremony was conducted by the Rev. Leslie Tuck er of Dunn. Mrs. Donald Taylor, vocalist, of Aberdeen, Maryland, and Miss Berta Stroud, of Faison, presented nuptial music. Daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. I. F. Hicks of Dunn, the bride j was given in marriage by her brother, Faison Hicks of Chapel , Hill. She wore a candlelight silk taffeta gown fashioned with a wide lace Bertha, embroidered with seed pearls and rhinestone; and bouf fant skirt which extended into a chapel train. She wore a veil of illusion, gathered to a small lace cap, and carried a bouquet of orchids and stephanotis. Mrs. Faison Hicks of Chapel Hill was matron of honor, and Miss Lenore Williams of Dunn attend ed as maid of honor.
