C, was elected a director, succeeding the late J. Epps Brown. Mr. Geer, the newly elected direc tor, is one of the most prominent men of the South in business and financial affairs snd is regarded with the highest confidence and esteem by the people of his section. He has been president and treasurer of the Judson Cotton Mills, at Green ville, S. C, since 1913, and is con sidered a leader in the textile in dustry of the State. His is also interested in several banks, being chairman of the board of directors of the American Bank & Trust Co., of Greenville and vice president of the Columbia National Bank of Columbia, S. C.
