Attorney Shipman and Miss Estelle Webster have returned to the Columbus Hotel after having spent the past month as guests at Ihe Central. : We regret to see our winter vis- itors leaving for their distant homes, though we hope that they, one and ail are well pleased, with our town and will return again another season. . ! Monday was a red letter day for Columbus. It marked the comple tion of the telephone line between Columbus and Tryon. Connection was established early in the after noon and Messrs.
