Gaines, who has been suffering from a severe attack of pneumonia; we are in formed at this writing, however, that siie is improving. Rhodes visited his family Thanksgiving, returning to his work Monday, Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Goodman have a very sick baby at this time, but we hope it will soon recover. . The Tryon Hosiery Co., has broken dirt for the erection of a dyeing and finishing plane at their mill here. Mr. Clayton Constant will re turn to his Company in Washing ton, D. C, next week after a 30 days furlough at home. Dr. Oppett, of Flat, Rock, was a visitor in Lynn this week. Mr. F. A. Thompson is visiting in Black Mountain this week.
