C. Walker, of Mill Spring-, fell asleep and her soul took its departure ta that Heavenly abode, where pain and sorrow never comes tlie home she had been prepar ing for all her life. Mrs. Walker was about 45 years of age and her years on this earth were spent m such deeds that for many years to come, though all that is mortal of her has returned to dust, her life will live on th's earth, making the world brighter thereby. The deceased leaves a husband and six children. The funeral services were con ducted by the Rev. B.P. Jackson, at the Mill Spring Baptist Church Cemetery, where the body was laid to rest- The News extends its heart felt sympathy to the bereaved orles and commends them to the guidance of Our Father, who do es ail things for the best. C. & 0. train Friday and perhaps fataly injured, says a Rutherfordton dispatch to the Charlotte Observer.
