Tryon Mayoralty Won By One Vote. -
The municipal electipn of Try
on was held Tuesday and much
enthusiasm was manifested. Two
tickets were before the citizens,
one headed by Mayor E. E. Mis
sildine, who piloted . Tryon suc
cessfully for many years, and the
other headed by Mr. F.P. Bacon,
a prominent and successful busi
ness man. There ;.was; a large
registration and every voter was
heard from,.the mayoralty going
to Bacon by 49, against Missil
dine 48. The commissioners
elected are W. Gaines, B. L.
Balienger,W. F. Smith, :F. Pear
son andfe W. Ballenger.
Criminal cases disposed 'of since

of Tuesday morning, the jury
