supreme court decision that gpod
roads are a necessary expense to
a county and commissioners have
the power to issue bondsfor the
purpose without submitting it to
the vote1 of the people, as stated
by Atty J. E. . Shipman at the.
good roads meeting held Monday
at the courthouse ; in Columbus,
it was decided by the members
present that a petition be present
ed the commissioners signed by
the county 's progressive citizens
for the issuance of - bonds to
ecure crbod highways throughout
the county. Citizens in favor of
the movement are urged tu sign
the petition and use every argu
ment to get their neighbors to
sign.
