OPEN HOUSE FOB MR. AND MRS. WALKER Mr. and Mrs. James W. Walker of Woodland who recently moved into their newly completed home near Woodland church were honor ed by a Open House given by Mes dames D. V. Grady, Allen Kvroe gay, and Durwood Walker Saturday night December the 8 from 7:00 until 10:00 p. m. The home was open throughout. An arrangement of Christmas hollies and berries centered with a red taper, was used to decorate the dining room table, and a Christmas tree with greenery graced the living room. Mrs. Allen Kornegay met the guest, at the door, Mrs. D. V. Grady of Kenansville poured punch. Potota chips, pickle and nuts were served buffett style on individual christmary plates. Mrs. Durwood Walker presided in the gift room. Approximately 50 invited guest attended. SHOWER HONORS MR. AND. MRS. SMITH Mesdames K. J. Smith, Leland Wallace, and Joe Westbrook were hostess last Friday night to a show er honoring Mr. and Mrs. Ryan Smith, recently moved in the home of Mrs. Wallace.
