Hosts were Mr. Walter Craft of Houston, Tex., Mrs. Carl Ball of Kinston Route 4, Mrs. Bob Robinson of Paducah, Ky.p Mr. Gardner Craft of Pink Hill, Mrs. Ed Preklas of Paducah, Ky., and Mr. Edward Craft Jr. of Rocky Mount. Guests were greeted at the door by Mr. Ball. Mrs. Joan Rouse pre sided at the guest book which was placed - on a secretary decorated with a two-branched brass candela brum filled with gold chrysanthe mums. The receiving line was com posed of the honorees and the hosts. ebrate Anniversary Guests were shown into the din ing room by Mrs. Edward Craft Jr. The anniversary table, overlaid with a white linen cutwork cloth, three branched epergne filled with gold chrysanthemums and greenery. Mrs. Gardner Craft poured punch while Mrs. Walter Craft cut . the three-tiered wedding cake. Yellow and white butter mints and nuts were also served. Gold chrysanthemums, yellow snapdragons and greenery were no ted on the mantel. Mrs. Anne Rhodes presided in the gift room and goodbyes were said to the honorees. Approximately 200 persons attend ed. Out-of-town-guests included Mrs. Marvin Beale and Mr. and Mrs. Odell Craft of Wilmington. ' ? I Richard Harper On Music Tour Kiichard F. Harper of Albertson will participate this spring in the largest music tour in the Western United States as member of the great Brigham Young University combined chorus and symphony or chestra. The tour is scheduled April g-17. . The 400-member group is compos ed of 300 singers and 100 instrumen talists. It will perform two of the I world's great choral masterpieces, '.'Magnificat in D" by Bacjb and "Blshazzar's Feast" by Walton. Ten huge buses will transport the musicians and a moving van will carry the instruments over the 2500 mile tour route. The group will ap pear in Concerts in Las Vegas, Nev.; Bakersfield, Los Angelas and Berkeley, California; and Salt Lake City and Provo, Utah. Conducting the group in concert on the unprecedented tour will be noted composer - conductor Dr. Crawford Gates. He has been assis ted in preparing the group "by the BYU Music Department faculty. t The local musician is a <son, of Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Harper who reside at Albetrson. He sings Bari tone.
