Stuart, exten sion agronomy specialist at North Carolina State College, the hybrid corn data offers the farmer yield information op a number of varie ties tested in his area. In addition, information is of fered on each variety on stand, moisture, lodged, ear height, ears per 100 stalks, ear tips exposed and quality rating. This data is carried, for example, an 19 yellow entries and four white entries in the Southern Coastal Plain table. The avearge figures for the yellow entries were: yield, 98 bushels; stand 92 per cent; mois ture, 17.0 per cent; lodged, 10 per cent; ear height, 48 inches; ears per 100 stalks, 138; ear tips exposed, 3 per cent; quality, 1.8.
