The activity was the 4-H District Dfcmwvstration Day. Some 300 contestants from sou theastern, Korth Carolina were participating. Rev. Lauren i Snarpe, Mayor of Kenansvilie Was the principal afternoon Speaker. The Mayor congratulated the contestants and their achievements and told of his recent visit to New York in which he saw the Astronauts on parade, and also on the same trip he toured the Bowery; Scenes de pot ine_ success and failure.
