Hill of Richmond, Va., Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Turner of Greenville, Lt. and Mrs. Albert S. Smith and son Chris, of Jacksonville, Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Scott, Jr., of Mt. Olive, Rt. 2 and Miss Ermie Spence of Pink Hill. Rt. 1 were guests during the weekend of Mrs. J. C. Smith and family. Mrs. Faison Smith spent the week end in Raleigh with the James Hemphill and Faison D. Smith fam ilies. Spending the weekend at Surf City were Mrs. R. A. Ga. and were accompanied home by Mrs. Janie Herring who has been visiting in the Martin home. Mrs. Christine Williams recently vistied her son, Mr. Melvin Wil liams, employed during the sum mer at Stockbridge, Mass. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Williams of Louisburg, spent the weekend with his mother, Mrs. Christine Williams. Messrs M. O. Hatch, Adolph Harper, Jepsey Pickett and Neil Jones were at Chapel Hill Saturday to donate blood to Mrs. Jones grandfather, a patient at the Un iversity Hospital. A great deal of interest and enthusam was shown by the visits, according to those partici pating in the program. Outing Postponed The Outing to the Cliffs of the Neuse which was scheduled to take place Tuesday afternoon by the Clover Leaf 4-H Club, in place of regular meeting was postponed be cause of the busy tobacco season.
