i To prepare sandwichettes use one regular-size melba toast

parsley sprig.
5. 1 tablespoon creamed cottage cheese mixed with dash
onion salt. Garnish with radish rose and 2 parsley sprigs.

at the weekend. Mr. McCallum is
a classmate of L. H. Jr., at N. C.
State of the University of N. C.
Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Huffman
of Richlands were dinner guests of
Mrs. Nora Stroud Sunday. It was in
observance of Mrs. Huffman's birth
day.
Mr. and Mrs. Norwood Scott and
son. Hill of Richmond, Va., Mr. and
Mrs. Leslie Turner of Greenville,
Lt. and Mrs. Albert S. Smith and
son Chris, of Jacksonville, Mr. and
Mrs. D. L. Scott, Jr., of Mt. Olive,
Rt. 2 and Miss Ermie Spence of
Pink Hill. Rt. 1 were guests during
the weekend of Mrs. J. C. Smith
and family.

spending Sunday, through Thursday
of this week at the L. H. Turner
summer cottage at Topsail. They
had previously spent the weekend
with their parents, Mr .and Mrs.
Tom Davis.

Godbold spent the weekend with the
J. E. Martin family at Montezuma.
Ga. and were accompanied home
by Mrs. Janie Herring who has
been visiting in the Martin home.

mer at Stockbridge, Mass.

to donate blood to Mrs. Jones
grandfather, a patient at the Un
iversity Hospital. They visited
briefly with George Dunn of Pink
Hill who is paralyzed there, as a
result of an Automobile accident

The annual every member visita- v
tion program was carried out at the i
Pink Hill Methodist Church Sunday -
afternoon, July 14. Several copies
of a booklet, .compiled during the
year, showing the work of the chu
rch, Pictures, etc. were carried by
men of the church, in pairs, to each
individual church family during the
afternoon. A great deal of interest
and enthusam was shown by the
visits, according to those partici
pating in the program.

of the B. F. Grady and Outlaw's
Bridge Clubs at the Community
Building Tuesday, at 2:30 p. m.
There was an attendance of 17. Mrs.
Spicer gave a demonstration on
making bed spreads. She also gave
'a few safety tips on health.
The hostesses, Mrs. R. A. Smith
and Mrs. Graham Teachey served

Outing Postponed
The Outing to the Cliffs of the
Neuse which was scheduled to take
place Tuesday afternoon by the
Clover Leaf 4-H Club, in place of
regular meeting was postponed be
cause of the busy tobacco season.
They expect to take the trip at a
