Personals Misses Betty and Bobbie Brewer and Ann Tyndall attended 4-H club week at North Carolina State Col lege Monday through Friday of the past week. They are members of the Busy Bee Club In Pink Hill. Dr. and Mrs. D. W. Ruffin spent the weekend in Raleigh with their daughter, Mrs. Dennis Hobbs, and Mr. Hobbs. They were Joined on Sunday by another daughter, Mrs. Bob Simpson, Mr. Simpson and daughter, Robin Ruffin, of Chapel Hill. Visiting in the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Jones during the week end were Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Bell, Sr., of Wilson, Mr. and Mrs H. F. BeU, Jr., of Raleigh and their dau ghter, Mrs. Ken Brinaen, Mr. Brin son and son of Warrenton. Mr. Brinson is principal of the Warrea ton City School. Guests of "the Jones', Thursday were Mrs. Carrie High of Bethesda, Md? Mr. and Kate Spragins of Tarboro Jimmy Miles, attending summer school at Chapel Hill, spent the weekend at home, Mesdames J. M. Jones, T. A. Mitchell and \ family are expected this week for a visit with friends before going to , Swansboro to occupy their new home in the process of completion. Sgt. and Mrs. Mitchell are former residents of Pink Hill, Rt. 2, but the .Sgt. has served recently with the Marines in Vietnam, and Mrs. Mitchell and children have been with relatives in Boston, Mass. A number of Scriptural games were played and refresh ments of lemonade and cookies were served. Mrs. Norman Anderson of ML Olive visited her sister, Mrs. Chris tine Williams Sunday, and they visited their mother, Mrs. M. J. Whaley in Beulaville. Mrs. J. A. Worley and her sister, Mrs. Gertrude Clark of Baton Rouge, La. recently visited in Foun tain and Louisburg and were also at Conway, to visit the Sauls family. In Louisburg they visited their nephew, Leon Stone who was ill in a hospital there. Mrs. Clark is leaving during the weekend for r i ?me and will etep over in Hender onville and Greenvffle, S. Tapped For Honor Society Glenn William of Pink Hill was one of 32 *-Hers tapped into State 4-H Club during 4-H Club week at N. S. State last week. It is the highest honor to be bestowed on a member of that organization. Hurricane lamps were ised on the back lawn and guests, an arrival, were served delicious iced watermelon balls from tables decorated in a green motif. The dinner, served buffet style, consist ed of barbecued chicken, bcfted potatoes, tossed salad, etc., with pear parfait fo rdessert. Games and dancing were forms ?f entertainment. Invited guests enjoying the de lightful affair were Messrs Cecil Wooten, 'Billy Harvey, Richard Knuckler, Billy Taylor, Hubert Par rott Misses Holly Wooten, Hynda Brody, Sandra Noble and Ginger Crowe, all of Kinston, Miss Mary Holden Harrell and Mr. Jackie Har rell, of Snow Hill and Mr. Johnny Turner of Pink Hill.
