C. They Are: Pvt Harry O. Bratcher, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bratche. Pvt. Johnny M. Houston, son of Rev. and Mrs. Julian Houston. Pvt. Thomas R. Brinson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Brinson. Pvt. William M. Dujsik, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Evans. Pvt Bryson C. Houston, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gardner B. Houston. Pvt Henry Jarraan, son of Mrs. Fonnie Jarman Cafe. Pvt La veil G. Nethercutt, son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Netheructt, Pvt Roland L. Penny, son of Mrs. Lummie S. Peony. Pvt Kenneth R. Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Odell Thompson. After completion of the 6 months training, the Guardsmen will return to their homes and to normal civi lian life, and wiR remain a member of the National Guard, attending the regular weekly meetings and1 the summer camps for the remaind er of their Military Obligation per iod. While at Fort Jackson, the Guards men receive exactly the same train ing that other soldiers receive in basic and advanced training, but at the conclusion of the advanced phase of training. Guardsmen re turn home to integrate their skills into the hometown unit, whereas the regular army personnel are shipped to various posts, camps and stations to be tN&foed in the active army system.
