SUMMERLIN'S HOME DEMONSTRATION CLUB CHRISTMAS PARTY HELD Mrs. Perry Grady was host ess Thursday night to the Sum merlin's Home Demonstration Club for the annual Christmas party. Mrs. Eddie Goodman, Fami ly Life Leader, led the devo tional and Mrs. Grady reported on Music. The Food and Nu trition Leader, Mrs. H.C.Lew is, cave the demonstration on Holiday Meals. There were a number if appropriate recei pes that could be used during the holidays given which in cluded party punch, captivating cookies, a variety of breads and casseroles. Several members reported that they had contributed gifts to hospitals and needy families. The home was decorated throughout with Christmas de corations. Gifts that had been placed beneath a lighted tree were, exchanged, and a recrea tion period was enjoyed. Miss Grady and Mrs. T.A. Jernigan assisted the hostess in serving tree shaped wreen and red open faced sandwiches, individual pecan pies, and hot coffee. r ?
