Waccamaw Splits Bank Stock WHITE VILLE - Waccamaw Bank and Trust Company an nounced today that the Board of Directors nad voted a split In bank stock subject to a spe cial call meeting of stockhol ders later this month. The announcement said the stock would Increase outstand ing shares from 230,000 to 460,000 and means that par value of the stock would be reduced from $10 to $5, and each shareholder would receive one additional share for each share he holds now. The chance in the stock, it was reported, would put thepar value and the market value of the stock more In line with other stock and would be more the stock more In line with other bank stock and would be more attractive to Investors. The Waccamaw showed strong gains on June 30, 1966 over 1965. Deposits were up over 13 per cent, or a dollar Increase of over five million dollars. Total resources are up 13 per cent and total $49, 970,757 as compared to $44, 242,967 of June 30,1965.
