The girls began work on their
sewing projects while the boys
practiced basketball.
Just before the meeting ad
journed, the leader, Mrs. Elea
nor Moore was given a sur
prise birthday party. Mrs.
Moore was very surprised and
expressed her appreciation In
this one sentence, "You might
as well place my crown on
my head, because I feel just like
a queen." The presents that
Mrs. Moore received were
enormous. The party was plan
ned by two of the assistant
leaders, Mr. and Mrs. James
Wilson; the secretary. Miss
Margaret Moore; and the pre
sident, Mr. Jimmy Wilson.
The meeting was adjourned.
