attended a two day school at the
Institute of Government In Cha
pel Hill on Friday and Satur
day, September 8th and 9th.
Instructions were given on the
forteen (14) bills enacted by the
1967 State Legislature affecting
the operations of the offices of
the Registers of Deeds in North
Carina.

collected by the Registers of
Deeds beginning January 1,1968.
The 1967 State Legislature
made more changes in the du
ties and rsponslwllties of the
Registers of Deeds than the
combined changes made by the
State Legislatures during the
past fifty (50) years.
