Shop Wallace! Commisioners notes The Board of County Com missioners met on Monday, A prll 15. During the day Vernon Rey nolds. County Agent, appeared before the Board and gave a report on the Agricultural pro iram. He announced that the -H Coastal Demonstration meeting will be held June 19 at 1:15 p.m. at the East Du plin High School. He also reported on the Coastal Plain Livestock show held In Kln ston last week. Six people from Duplin had steers in the show and one boy had enter ed pigs. Reynolds announced that it wss the best quality show which had been held. E. C. Tyndall, county Main tenance Supervisor, came be fore the board and discussed roads. Leon Brown, Commission er, was appointed a member of the County Board of Public Welfare effective July 1, 1968 to represent the Board of Com missioners. Board members were sworn In as members of the County Board of Equalization and Re view. The Board appointed committees of all members to I assist in making any Investi gation necessary In Its work.
