MRS. SAMUEL EARL PAIRES | Miller-Faires Wedding Vows | Exchanged Last Saturday Evening i Miss Sandra Lynn Miller and WOC Samuel Earl F aires were united in marriage Sunday,May S, at 6 o'clock In the evening In the Hallsvllle Presbyterian church, near Kenans vllle. The Raw. Jack Dall officiated. The bride, Is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Mil ler of Beulavllle. The groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Earl W. Falres, Jr., of Albertson. The church was decorated with baskets of white mums and gladloU and spiral candelabra before a backgound of palms. The bride was dven <n mar riage ov her lamer, she ?ui? % gown of white ChantlUy lace and organza with lace bodice embroidered with tiny seed pearls and french sequins, and flowing skirt with Chapel train. Her bouffant vMl of Illusion fell from a headpiece of deli cate lace, pearls and sequins. She carried a cascade of white carnations. 1111106 of the val ley and baby's breath center ed with a white orchid. Miss Annette Grady was the maid of honor. She wore along crepe apricot dress and carried a single white mum. Brides maids were Jane Williams, of Beulavllle, cousin of the bride, Sybil F aires, of AlhTtann.nl* ter of the groom, and BeMta Miller of Beulavllle. Miss Wan da Norris was flower girl. Larry Joe Miller was the ring bearer. Larry Holt was best man. Ushers were Johnny Miller, Terry Miller, brothers of die bride, and Raymond Earl Brad of Rose Hill, cousin of the i bride. Music was furnished by Miss Laurie Brlnkley, who sang "Whiter Thou Goest," "Sweetest Story Ever Told", and "The Wedding Prayer". Mrs. Jack Dall, organist, pre sented a program of wedding music prior to the ceremony, and accompanied Miss Brink ley. Engagement Announced I Mr. and Mrs. Willis H. Keeves, Sr. of Route 4, Clinton, I announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their 1 daughter, Betty Joan, to Elwood Taylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd T. Taylor of Rt. 2, Warsaw. The wedding will take place i at Epworth Methodist Church on Saturday, June 22, at 4 p.m. No Invitations are being mailed but all friends and relatives are ' cordially Invited to attend the ceremony. i Deaths Mr*. Lacy P. Brown ROSE HILL ? Funeral ser vice* for Mrs. Lucy Parker Brown, 68, who died Saturday, were conducted at 4 p.m. Mon day at Dobson Chapel Church near Kanansville by the Rev. Millard Bounds. Burial was in Golden Grove Cemetery there. He was a native of Pender County ?td a retired farmer. Mrs. Sudie Howard Parker MAGNOLIA - Mrs. Sudie Howard Parker, formerly of Magnolia, died in Riverton, Utah on May 10. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Howard of Magnolia Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Mary Emma Pickett of Riverton Utah and one eon, Milton, of Texas.
